Plain but premium

A women-led company specialising in natural skincare products
Graphic designPackagingPrinting

London-based graphic designer Giulia Garbin (see Pulp 6) developed the packaging for The Seated Queen (TSQ), a women-led company specialising in natural skincare products. While catering to the needs of ‘smart, busy women’, the brand aims to go beyond the confines of gender through its use of language and a clean, minimalist look. The plain, textured box made from Acquerello Bianco 390 g/m2, paired with monochrome sans serif typography and a linocut illustration by Garbin, focuses attention on the core values of TSQ: simple products for hectic lifestyles. The stripped-back designs and production process also allow for packaging to be easily recycled without sacrificing the premium look and feel.
