Mind the pay gap

The Lost Time Project aims to ‘spark action and conversation around the gender pay gap’
Graphic designPrintingPublishing

The Lost Time Project – designed by New Zealand-born, London-based designers Alice Murray and Lauren Priestley – aims to ‘spark action and conversation around the gender pay gap’ which stands at 17.3 per cent in the UK. Murray and Priestley equate this percentage to 63 days per year of unpaid labour, and the wall calendar’s design reflects this number. The unpaid days are printed in white foil and are nearly invisible at certain angles, in stark contrast to the black type. All profits from the sale of the Lost Time Project calendars go to charities and non-profit organisations working towards gender equality in the creative industries.

See ‘Living by numbers‘ for the full list of case studies.
