Fabbrica di Liquori Izzi

Studio Dario Frattaruolo Design has created new branding and packaging
Graphic designLabelPrintingSustainability

Studio Dario Frattaruolo Design has created new branding and packaging – with a distinct focus on sustainability – for Italian liqueur producers Fabbrica di Liquori Izzi’s Amaro and Sambuca. Frattaruolo opted for eco-friendly materials, including Sorolla Recycled H+O WS FSC™, Cotone Bianco Ultra WS and Cotone Nero Intense WS by Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives, as well as recycled glass for the bottles and natural cork for the cap, to chime with the factory’s eco-conscious mission. The century-old family business also uses organic ingredients. The studio created two-part labels that feature the logo rebrand, which preserved the company’s traditional symbol but gave it a modern approach. The printing, by La Commerciale di Alba, features special embossed foils, a tactile and contemporary touch.
